After graduating from college I pursued a career in graphic design, but it was the lockdown of 2020 that was to be the start of a new direction to explore my artistic potential.
Whether painting still life or landscape, I strive to create art that excites and inspires. Experimentation often pushes me into unexpected directions, and I embrace bold choices, allowing each piece to guide my artistic growth. By keeping the brushstrokes loose, leaving the drips and splashes, I invite the viewer to connect with the spontaneity and energy of the work and enjoy the beauty in imperfection.
My background as a graphic designer informs my compositions and colour choices, while my influences range from music and nature to street art. I work in acrylic, charcoal, spray and house paint.
I also frame my own artwork and now make float frames for many artists in the local area.
